Prison School: Mad Wax

Freshly released from the harsh “prison” that ruled Hachimitsu Private Academy, the school’s five notorious boys are finally allowed back into ordinary student life—complete with the coed campus they’d been dreaming of.

With freedom comes a surprising upswing for the group: Kiyoshi Fujino and Shingo Wakamoto start growing closer to their female classmates, Reiji Andou finds himself oddly popular thanks to his masochistic tendencies, and Takehito “Gakuto” Morokuzu—infamous for an embarrassing incident in class—strikes up an unlikely friendship with the clumsy, kindred-spirit Mitsuko Yokoyama. Only Jouji “Joe” Nezu can’t settle in; watching Gakuto’s unexpected romantic luck and feeling increasingly left out, he begins to question whether life was simpler back behind bars.
