Girlish Number

College student Chitose Karasuma refuses to drift into a dull adult life, so she impulsively pushes her way into voice-actor training and ends up working at Number One Produce, a seiyuu agency run by her older brother, Gojou. Confident she’s destined for stardom, Chitose quickly discovers her reality is far less glamorous as she’s repeatedly offered only small parts.

Surrounded by other aspiring talents at the agency—including a deceptively sharp “airhead” and a girl known for her Kansai accent—Chitose butts heads with her peers and the industry itself. The experience forces her to confront what it really takes to get ahead in a fiercely competitive showbiz world.
