The Aquatope on White Sand

After stepping away from her idol career, Fuuka Miyazawa impulsively heads to Okinawa rather than returning home to Morioka. Lost and carrying a heavy sense of defeat, she drifts through her new surroundings until she happens upon Gama Gama Aquarium—an old facility quietly struggling to survive.

With few visitors and expensive repairs looming, the director plans to close the aquarium for good by the end of summer. His granddaughter, Kukuru Misakino, refuses to accept that fate and throws herself into an uphill effort to earn enough to keep Gama Gama open. Captivated by the place and its atmosphere, Fuuka asks Kukuru for work, only to discover that inexperience can be as much a burden as it is a fresh start. As pressure builds and their goal grows harder to reach, the two are forced to confront what they’re willing to endure for the home they’ve come to cherish.
