Tsubasa to Hotaru (2016)

Fifteen-year-old Tsubasa Sonokawa experiences a whirlwind of emotions when an upperclassman comes to her aid after she faints at the train station. Enchanted by this encounter, she believes their meeting is serendipitous and eagerly seeks his company, only to be heartbroken when he dismisses her feelings as too overwhelming. Undeterred, Tsubasa continues her high school journey, where fate brings her another chance at love.

Taking on the role of manager for her friend Yuri’s boys' basketball team, Tsubasa crosses paths with Aki, a fellow student who seems to understand her in ways she hadn’t anticipated. As their relationship develops, she discovers that her connection with Aki may run deeper than she originally thought, leading her to reevaluate her feelings and the nature of love itself.
