High schooler Mei Ayazuki expects an ordinary life—until a night under a full, crimson moon ends with her being swept back in time to the Meiji era by Charlie, a self-proclaimed magician. In a Tokyo where spirits are treated as part of everyday reality, Charlie leads her to the Rokumeikan, where she’s introduced to a group of notable men: Ougai Mori, Shunsou Hishida, Otojirou Kawakami, Kyouka Izumi, Gorou Fujita, Yakumo Koizumi, and Tousuke Iwasaki.

As Mei navigates an unfamiliar age, she learns she is a Tamayori, someone able to see ghosts—an ability held in high regard in Meiji Japan. That gift draws her deeper into the lives of the men around her, and what begins as bewilderment gradually shifts into connection and romance. With her heart pulled between eras, Mei must face the uncertainty of whether she can return home—and what becomes of feelings that transcend time.
