Ōsai Academy, once an all-girls high school, has recently become co-ed due to declining birth rates. That change leaves the first wave of male students vastly outnumbered—and Takatoshi Tsuda quickly learns what that feels like on day one.

After an early run-in with student council president Shino Amakusa that ends in a scolding and a late arrival to class, Tsuda is “apologetically” invited to join the student council for a variety of questionable reasons. Whether he agrees or simply gets swept along, his new role places him in constant contact with the council’s eccentric members, as he comes to suspect he may be the only truly ordinary person at Ōsai Academy.
