RErideD: Derrida, who leaps through time

In 2050, young engineer Derrida Yvain earns acclaim at Rebuild—the manufacturing firm founded by his father—for his work on the “Autonomous Machine DZ.” When Derrida and his colleague Nathan uncover a critical flaw in the DZ units, they attempt to alert their superiors, only to be dismissed. With no immediate action taken, the two set the problem aside to attend the birthday party of Nathan’s daughter, Mage.

Soon after, their lives are upended by a sudden attack from unknown assailants. During the desperate escape, Derrida is forced into a cold-sleep device and awakens a decade later to a world ravaged by war. Hunted by DZs that have spiraled out of control, Derrida clings to Nathan’s final request—“Take care of Mage”—and sets out to find her amid the ruins.
