Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet

Thirty years after the Space Colonization Program collapses, humanity has dwindled to the brink under an unending, lethal Rain. “Junkers” comb the shattered remains of civilization for valuables, and one solitary scavenger slips into the most perilous ruins of all: a sealed “Sarcophagus City.”

At the heart of the dead metropolis, he stumbles upon a pre-war planetarium and meets Hoshino Yumemi, a companion robot who welcomes him as her first visitor in decades. Certain she has a customer at last, Yumemi eagerly prepares to present the night sky—only to find the projector inoperable. Puzzled by her unwavering manner yet drawn into her request, he agrees to attempt the repairs, setting an unexpected encounter in motion.
