Momo Minamoto is a reserved high school girl who wants to make a difference, inspired by her police officer father and his commitment to justice. Like him, she possesses an unusual gift: senses far sharper than most, to the point where a single lick can reveal what someone is feeling.

After spotting suspicious figures moving through the night, Momo learns they’re spies—and is soon drawn into their world by Yuki Hanzoumon, an upperclassman who leads a covert group operating out of their school. Known as Tsukikage, the team carries out clandestine missions to keep their city safe, and they wield a distinctive edge of their own: by ingesting spices, they can temporarily boost their abilities while continuing to balance the demands of everyday student life.
