Unleashing creatures known as Lemures, they twist people’s dreams into living nightmares, gathering the energy needed to shroud Earth in darkness. Usagi Tsukino and her friends step back into their roles as the Inner Sailor Guardians to confront the spreading threat.

After a total solar eclipse, Mamoru Chiba suddenly becomes ill, and both Usagi and Chibiusa meet a mysterious pegasus named Helios. Helios pleads for help to unseal the Golden Crystal—said to be the key to saving their world—just as the Sailor Guardians find themselves unable to transform and begin falling prey to the Circus’s attacks. With time running short, they must reclaim their strength before the nightmare consumes everything.
