Synopsis
After concerns over the violence depicted in *Cowboy Bebop*—amid reports of violence in Japanese schools—the broadcast was briefly halted, and an additional installment was prepared to serve as a concluding episode for the first thirteen episodes that had aired.
Titled **“Session XX: Mish-Mash Blues,”** it is a compilation assembled from clips of earlier episodes, first shown on **June 26, 1998** on **TV Tokyo**. The characters frame the footage with philosophical commentary, ending with the message: **“This Is Not The End. You Will See The Real ‘Cowboy Bebop’ Someday!”** The episode was never released on DVD.
