In the serene world of Aqua, Anya Dostoyevskaya, a hopeful gondolier in training with the Orange Company, finds herself troubled by the distance growing between her mentor, Alice Carroll, and Alice's own mentor, the celebrated opera singer Athena Glory. While Athena has been eager to reconnect with Alice, the latter seems to be evading her for reasons unknown, leaving Anya feeling a mix of concern and curiosity.

Determined to bridge the gap, Anya enlists the help of her friends, fellow Undines Ai Aino and Azusa B. McLaren. As the trio embarks on their quest to facilitate a reunion, Anya begins to unravel the complex emotions and dynamics at play between the two women.
