Synopsis

Summoned from Hell by the witch Yurine Hanazono, Jashin-chan—a demon with a human upper body and a snake’s tail—spends her days plotting a return home. Her most obvious escape route is eliminating the summoner, but every half-baked attempt and bout of troublemaking tends to end the same way: Yurine’s brutal payback and yet another setback in Jashin-chan’s plans.

As if that weren’t enough, Jashin-chan’s hopeless relationship with money lands her in even deeper trouble. After gambling away three million yen from Hell Financing at pachinko, she’s saddled with a debt she can’t repay. Desperate to dodge the consequences, she runs off to Hokkaido to disappear—only to learn that creditors don’t forget so easily when they come calling.
