Shohoku High’s quick-footed point guard, Ryouta Miyagi, runs the court with sharp instincts and blistering speed, keeping a cool face as he outmaneuvers opponents. Raised in Okinawa, he grew up in the shadow of an older brother—three years his senior—whose early reputation as a standout player helped spark Ryouta’s own devotion to basketball.

Now in his second year of high school, Miyagi joins Sakuragi, Rukawa, Akagi, and Mitsui as Shohoku steps onto the national stage at the Inter-High School National Championship. With momentum building, the team stands on the verge of facing the reigning powerhouse: Sannoh Kogyo High School.
