Under the leadership of Akashic, Agastia has risen as a major contender among its peers—helped along by enough perks to make even a dubious workplace feel worth enduring.

Touka Kuroitsu works in Agastia’s Monster Development Department as a researcher, often pushed into fieldwork thanks to the quirks of her senior colleagues. Her days are packed with last-minute presentations, outlandish demands for new monster concepts, and escorting those creations into battles they’re expected to lose against Agastia’s foes. Even so, Kuroitsu keeps grinding forward, convinced that her effort will eventually earn the promotion she’s aiming for.
