Tribe Nine

In Neo-Tokyo, disillusioned youths band together into “tribes” in search of belonging, but rivalries quickly turn brutal. To curb the escalating violence, the government enacts the XB Law, requiring disputes to be settled through Extreme Baseball—a high-tech, rule-bending take on the sport where specialized gear and unusual equipment, like extendable bats, change how the game is played.

Haru Shirokane becomes a target for bullies until he’s unexpectedly helped by Shun Kamiya and Taiga. Shun is the celebrated Extreme Baseball ace who leads the top-ranked Minato Tribe in Minato City, while Taiga is determined to surpass him and claim the title of strongest. After a chain of impulsive encounters reveals promise in both newcomers, Haru and Taiga find themselves pulled into the Minato Tribe.

As tensions rise across Minato City and a new danger emerges under the shadowy Oujirou Otori, the Minato Tribe may have to rely on its two fresh recruits to stand their ground.
