Capsules

The "Capsules Project" brings together talented animation teams from various sectors, each with a wealth of experience in producing sophisticated animated works. Focusing on the theme of "Extreme Emotions," these teams craft short films that range from 5 to 15 minutes in length. Participants select two emotions from a set of seven—namely "Thorn," "Desire," "Joy," "Illusion," "Numbness," "Tears," and "Passion"—to explore, resulting in a rich tapestry of narrative expressions.

Through this initiative, viewers are treated to a diverse array of animated shorts that showcase not only different artistic styles but also a multitude of emotional journeys. By collaborating with Chinese animators, the project aims to elevate these poignant stories, presenting them on a global platform and inviting audiences to experience the depth of human emotion through the lens of animation.
