Synopsis

Osamu and Youko Sonoyama, a well-off couple growing older, dream of giving a home to the children of Soramame House. Unable to adopt them all, they’re forced to choose just one—and are quickly taken with a beautiful, soft-spoken 13-year-old named Hitori. Two months later, Hitori is welcomed into the Sonoyama household, where everything seems set for a peaceful new life.

But “Hitori” is a carefully maintained act. Behind the impeccable manners is a shared role performed by identical twins Migi and Dali, switching places to appear as a single perfect child. As they work to keep their secret intact, the twins use their new home as a foothold in a quiet town, pursuing answers about a past incident that fuels their desire for revenge.
