A Galaxy Next Door

After his father’s sudden passing, Ichirou Kuga is left to raise his two younger siblings while trying to keep their household afloat. He rents out rooms in the apartment building he inherited and works full-time as a shoujo manga creator, but low sales, departing assistants, and looming deadlines push him to the brink.

Relief arrives when Shiori Goshiki, a highly capable newcomer, joins as his assistant and helps steady his work. Then an unexpected accident triggers a strange supernatural incident between them, after which Shiori matter-of-factly announces that they’re engaged. Caught off guard, Ichirou must navigate an abruptly complicated bond with the enigmatic Shiori while continuing to pursue his craft and care for the family depending on him.
