Synopsis

On Mercury, breakthroughs in cybernetic prosthetics have paved the way for massive, pilot-operated mobile suits. But the same bioengineering that makes these machines possible exacts a harsh physical price on those who use them, and as Mercury’s technology grows more formidable, anxiety spreads back on Earth.

During her daughter Ericht’s fourth birthday, pilot Elnora Samaya puts the cutting-edge Gundam Lfrith through its paces under the supervision of its creator, Cardo Nabo. When Ericht arrives at the test site despite being told to stay away, she unexpectedly forms an unusual connection with the machine—setting off a chain of events that quickly spirals into turmoil.
