Mysterious Disappearances

At 28, writer Sumireko Ogawa is far removed from the “child prodigy” label that once followed her. With editors turning cold and a new novel refusing to come together, she drifts into a quieter routine working at a bookstore—until a peculiar book and a passage of poetry pull her into something far stranger: Sumireko suddenly reverts to her childhood body.

The change brings back her spark and creative drive, but it comes with a terrifying cost. Her coworker Ren Adashino, knowledgeable in the occult, warns that the transformation will eventually be fatal unless she continues reading the book’s verses. To return to normal, Sumireko reluctantly joins Ren and his sister Oto as they pursue paranormal cases, hoping the unsettling encounters—and Ren’s still-murky intentions—might become the material she needs to write again.
