My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog. OVA

Karen Inukai, feeling self-conscious about her weight, decides to go swimming and invites her friend Mike Nekotani along. Nekotani doesn’t realize until it’s too late that the outing is to a dog-only pool—exactly the kind of place Inukai’s beloved Pochita will love, and exactly the kind of situation that tests Nekotani’s intense fear of dogs.

At the school festival, Inukai finally gets a moment away from her class’s dog café and uses it to take Pochita on a date. Their plans quickly get complicated when Usagi Tsukishiro, who considers herself Inukai’s rival for Pochita’s attention, insists on joining them. The trio’s festival stroll leads into a haunted house, where the scares overwhelm both girls and leave Pochita to help settle their nerves.
