Synopsis
At 26, Kentarou Momose leaves his previous job after suffering health issues brought on by an abusive boss. He starts over at a new company, hoping for a calmer workplace under the guidance of his mentor and direct supervisor, the 34-year-old Yuusei Shirosaki.
Shirosaki is respected for his competence, and that only heightens Momose’s anxiety about making mistakes and being pulled back into old fears. Those worries gradually ease as Shirosaki proves consistently kind and eager to support him—sometimes in ways that are unintentionally comical. As Momose settles in, he begins to see that life around his warmly eccentric new boss doesn’t require constant guardrails.
