Ichizu High is split between two feuding delinquent groups—Minato Kai and the Siguma Squad—and their rivalry keeps the campus on edge. New transfer student Arajin Tomoshibi wants nothing to do with the power struggle; he’s far more focused on getting a girlfriend. Sitting beside Mahoro Jin, the most admired girl in class, seems like a lucky break—until Arajin learns her fiercely protective older brother is Marito, the hard-hitting leader of Siguma Squad. Things get even messier when Arajin reconnects with his childhood friend Matakara Asamine, now affiliated with Minato Kai.

Arajin’s bad timing doesn’t stop there: he inadvertently awakens Senya, a genie-like “Honki Person” from old legends, who becomes attached to Arajin’s single-minded (and very personal) goal. Arajin may prefer to run from trouble, but with Senya’s power backing him up, he starts surviving encounters that should’ve ended badly—drawing the attention of both gangs, each eager to pull him to their side. When a third group enters the conflict and the turf war escalates, staying uninvolved becomes harder by the day.
