Apocalypse Hotel

In 2157, the Gingarou Hotel stands in Tokyo’s Ginza district as a pristine luxury property maintained entirely by sophisticated hospitality robots. Earth’s atmosphere has become toxic, and with humanity long gone, the lobby has been quiet for decades—yet the routines of top-tier service continue as if guests could arrive at any moment.

Yachiyo, the robot serving as acting manager, keeps the hotel operating day after day with her mechanical staff. As the years pass and more units stop working without any way to repair or replace them, she refuses to let the standards slip. Bound by a promise made to the hotel’s owner before his departure, Yachiyo holds onto a steady hope that people will return to Earth—and that she’ll meet him again.
