At Sheena Totsuki’s school, the announcement of a roommate’s death is treated like routine housekeeping before lessons begin. By morning, that same girl appears in class as a transfer student: Mimi Kagari. Rumored to be the orphanage’s hidden trump card—an “undying” girl from school whispers—Mimi is assigned to Sheena’s room and tries to settle into ordinary school routines.
