Synopsis

At Sheena Totsuki’s school, the announcement of a roommate’s death is treated like routine housekeeping before lessons begin. Raised in an orphanage that trains children to become soldiers, the students have grown up with loss as part of daily life—especially with a long, grinding war that keeps sending them to the front. Sheena, unlike most of her peers, can’t numb herself to it, and quietly longs for the fighting to end.
