Ureshiko Asaba, a 26-year-old married woman, leads a double life as a magical girl known as "Agnes," the protector of her community. Few are aware of her true identity, but her responsibilities take a precarious turn when she encounters Sayaka Kurenai, also known as "Cruje." Tasked by the magical realm as Agnes's successor, Cruje harbors a dark agenda that threatens to obliterate the very town Ureshiko has sworn to defend.
