Synopsis
Kakeru Daichi is an ordinary high schooler—until a can of melon soda he buys from a vending machine abruptly turns into a beautiful, aloof girl he dubs “Melon.” Her appearance pulls him into a strange world where more “Akikan” girls—anthropomorphic soda cans—begin showing up.
These Akikan require regular infusions of carbon dioxide to maintain their human forms, adding a quirky constraint to Kakeru’s increasingly unusual daily life as he navigates the growing number of can-girls around him.
