Synopsis

Sakuya Outsuki, heir to famed sleuth Tatsuya Outsuki, wants nothing to do with high-risk detective work. Taking his father’s daring reputation as a cautionary tale, he sticks to harmless assignments—cheating spouses, missing pets, and other low-stakes problems that keep him out of danger.

That plan unravels during a routine job aboard a cruise ship when Sakuya stumbles upon a corpse. He reluctantly starts digging for answers, only to be murdered before he can make real progress. Soon he comes to, greeted by his assistant, Lilithea—and learns a chilling pattern: death isn’t the end for him.
