Arusu has always believed in magic—not just as a fantasy, but as something real that can bring joy and help others. That conviction is put to the test when she’s suddenly swept into another world governed by an enigmatic upper class of witches, where magic is treated as serious business rather than playful wonder.

In this new realm, witches are busy hunting down sprites, the world’s native magical beings, and binding them into slavery. When Arusu understands that what she’s seeing isn’t a dream, she resolves to push back against the system and try to make things right.
