The Tatami Galaxy Specials

A college student and his friends—Seitarou Higuchi, Akashi, Ozu, and Ryouko Hanuki—swap a string of ever-more-inventive tales centered on a submarine capable of traveling across land, each story trying to top the last in imagination.

Their conversations jump from an expedition meant to prevent the ice caps from melting, to an attempt to put a stop to peeping perverts, to something as low-key as a fishing outing—proof that, in their hands, no subject is too strange or too ordinary to become an adventure.
