Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom - Record of the Jade Blood

Following the events of *Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom*, Chizuru Yukimura escapes Kyoto alongside the Shinsengumi and heads toward Edo. With commander Isami Kondou gone, vice-commander Toshizou Hijikata is forced to lead in his stead—an added burden made worse by a terrifying, newly awakened bloodlust he can’t fully control. The danger doesn’t stop with him, as the same violent impulse begins to surface among some of the unit, threatening to unravel them from within.

When Kondou finally returns, he brings an imperial directive to defend the castle and a new designation for their force: the Kouyou Chinbutai. As conflict intensifies and loyalties grow uncertain, Chizuru remains at the Shinsengumi’s side, continuing her search for her missing father while her connection with Hijikata deepens amid the mounting chaos of war.
