Nana to Kaoru

Seventeen-year-old Kaoru is a virgin with a strong interest in S&M, a secret he’s long associated with Nana, his childhood friend. Nana is admired at school for her spotless image, while Kaoru’s laid-back attitude toward studying has gradually pushed them into different circles, leaving their once-close bond strained.

Their lives intersect again when Kaoru’s mother unexpectedly asks Nana to hold onto some of Kaoru’s belongings. Nana ends up trying on a leather one-piece Kaoru bought, only to get stuck inside it without the key. After Kaoru helps her out, Nana discovers she isn’t as repelled by Kaoru’s hobby as she assumed, and the two begin arranging “breathers” — private sessions meant to ease the pressure Nana carries as she struggles to maintain perfect grades and a perfect reputation.
