Synopsis
Taro Sado is an ordinary high schooler with one not-so-ordinary secret: he’s a masochist. Spurred on by his cross-dressing best friend, Tatsukichi Hayama, he turns to the Second Voluntary Club for help—and soon finds himself pulled into the club after its members promise they can “cure” him.
The plan gets complicated fast, since the club is packed with students (and staff) carrying quirks of their own. Mio Isurugi, the club’s self-proclaimed “god,” can’t handle cats; Arashiko Yuuno is intensely afraid of men; and advisor Michiru Onigawara has a sadistic streak and a fondness for forcing cosplay. Alongside Yumi Mamiya, a skilled masseuse and Yuuno’s close friend, and Noa Hiiragi, the Invention Club president, their chaotic attempts at self-improvement gradually give way to lessons in acceptance and basic kindness.
