Princess Arete

Imprisoned within the confines of her father's castle, Princess Arete often gazes out from her tower, captivated by the vibrant life beyond her reach. Her days are filled with longing as she observes the common folk going about their lives, far away from the royal expectations that burden her. While knights vie for the chance to win her hand by embarking on quests for ancient magical artifacts, Arete feels trapped in a world she does not wish to inhabit. Her heart yearns for adventure and connection with those who live outside the castle walls, inspired by the tales she secretly devours in books hidden beneath her bed.

Everything changes when the enigmatic sorcerer Boax appears in a marvelous flying contraption, offering Arete a choice: to become his bride and step into a role of grandeur, or to break free from her gilded cage and experience the world she has only dreamed of.
