Joining him are two friends who step into heroic roles of their own: his childhood best friend Rebecca Anderson, recruited as the hero of the Principality of Pastillage at the request of Princess Couvert Eschenbach Pastillage, and his cousin Nanami Takatsuki, chosen to represent the Galette Lion Dominion.
