Dog Days

Dog Days is set in Flonyard, a parallel Earth where people live alongside animal traits like ears and tails. The dog-nation Republic of Biscotti finds itself threatened by the cat-led Galette Leo Knights, prompting Princess Millhiore to call for help from beyond her world. Her summoned champion is Cinque Izumi, an ordinary middle school student from Earth.

Cinque agrees to stand with Biscotti and is entrusted with the sacred weapon Palladion as he prepares to fight. In Flonyard, “wars” are staged without casualties and resemble competitive sporting events designed to raise funds for the kingdoms involved. Although Cinque proves himself as Biscotti’s hero, he soon discovers that returning a summoned champion home isn’t possible—leaving Biscotti’s scientists searching for a solution while he continues serving at Millhiore’s side.
