Hyouka: What Should Be Had

Houtarou Oreki expects a quiet day at home, but his sister Tomoe volunteers him for lifeguard duty at the local swimming pool. Once there, he runs into the other members of the Classics Club, turning an ordinary shift into an unexpected reunion.

Eru Chitanda’s attention is caught by a small oddity: a white object that had been on a woman’s ear is suddenly gone. True to form, her curiosity won’t let it go, and Oreki joins the club in piecing together what happened—mixing a laid-back day at the pool with a modest mystery to unravel.
