The Pet Girl of Sakurasou

At Suimei High, Sakura-sou has a reputation as the dorm for the school’s most troublesome residents. When the comparatively mild Sorata Kanda is assigned there, his main objective becomes finding a way out. Until then, he’s forced to navigate life alongside an eccentric group that includes upbeat animator Misaki Kamiigusa, flirtatious writer Jin Mitaka, and the withdrawn programmer Ryuunosuke Akasaka—while leaning on his one reliably “normal” friend, aspiring voice actress Nanami Aoyama.

Sakura-sou grows even more unpredictable when Mashiro Shiina arrives as a foreign exchange student. Striking and gifted beyond her years, Mashiro produces art of world-class caliber yet struggles with basic everyday routines, leaving Sorata responsible for looking after her. As their bond deepens, his focus shifts from escaping the dorm to facing what it means to live among people whose talent seems effortless.

Surrounded by residents who each shine in their own field, Sorata is pushed to confront his own insecurities and work toward a place where he can stand beside them. The Pet Girl of Sakurasou follows the dorm’s highs and lows with a grounded mix of friendship, romance, ambition, and the growing pains that come with chasing a future.
