Chihaya Ayase throws herself into building a competitive karuta club at her high school, driven by dreams of reaching the national stage at Ōmi Jingū and one day earning the title of Queen—the top female player in Japan. With second year underway, Chihaya and her teammates face the challenge of bringing in new members while sharpening both their technique and endurance for the battles ahead.

As they push toward the championship, stronger rivals and mounting pressure test the club’s resolve. At the same time, Chihaya’s childhood friend Arata Wataya—the talented player who first introduced her to karuta—begins to rekindle the passion he once lost for the game.
