Magic Knight Rayearth II

Not long after the Magic Knights’ climactic battle against Princess Emeraude’s Mashin, Hikaru Shidou is still shaken by the princess’s death. Drawn back to Tokyo Tower, she reunites with Umi Ryuuzaki and Fuu Hououji for the first time since their sudden journey to save Cephiro. Haunted by recurring nightmares, Hikaru finds comfort in learning that her friends also feel compelled to return and protect the world they left behind.

Their wish is granted when a familiar blinding light envelops them atop Tokyo Tower, sending the trio back to Cephiro once again—now a devastated land. With the Pillar’s power gone, monsters roam freely, and three neighboring nations move to claim Cephiro for themselves in hopes of taking the Pillar. As the Magic Knights struggle to make sense of the new order, a mysterious figure known as Lady Debonair appears, declaring herself the rightful successor to the fallen realm.

Facing harsher stakes and unfamiliar enemies, Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu set out to restore peace to Cephiro, relying on the trust they forged in their first battle to stand together against what awaits.
