The Severing Crime Edge

Kiri Haimura is fascinated by beautiful hair—especially the act of cutting it. Chasing rumors of a long-haired ghost in an abandoned hilltop house, he instead meets Iwai Mushanokouji, a striking girl known as the “Hair Queen.” Her endlessly long hair is bound by a family curse, making it impossible to cut by ordinary means.

Iwai reveals she’s the target of a deadly contest: if an “Author” kills her using a cursed weapon called a “Killing Good,” their wish will be granted. When Kiri steps in to protect her, he discovers his own inherited Killing Good—a pair of scissors tied to his ancestor’s murders. Named “The Severing Crime Edge,” the scissors can slice through Iwai’s cursed hair, drawing them both deeper into a lethal struggle as more Authors close in on the Hair Queen.
