Blade Dance of the Elementalers

En route to Areishia Spirit Academy, Kamito Kazehaya stumbles upon Claire Rouge in the middle of a purification bath. Claire is aiming to forge a contract with a formidable spirit to strengthen her abilities as an elementalist, but the attempt goes awry when the spirit chooses Kamito instead—despite elementalists traditionally being shrine maidens. Refusing to accept defeat, Claire declares that Kamito will serve as her contracted spirit.

Once on campus, Kamito tries to slip away from Claire, only to be approached by Headmaster Greyworth Ciel Mais and offered enrollment. As the lone male among shrine princesses-in-training, he enters a demanding school life, agreeing in exchange for information about his former contracted spirit, Restia Ashdoll. Greyworth also assigns him a clear objective: claim victory in the upcoming Blade Dance tournament in two months, where he’s set to confront the top elementalist, rumored to be partnered with a spirit of darkness.
