Kenji Kazama leads the Kazama Family, a trio of would-be delinquents hoping to build a reputation at Fujou Academy. On the first day of the new term, they stumble into a blaze at the Game Development Club—only for the club’s eccentric members to respond with hostility instead of gratitude. With his friends knocked out and escape proving impossible, Kenji is pressured into joining the club himself.

Pulled into the club’s chaotic orbit, Kenji ends up dealing with the personalities behind his “temporary” membership: domineering student council president Chitose Karasuyama, energetic tomboy Sakura Mizukami, the laid-back advisor Minami Oosawa, and the school’s notorious behind-the-scenes figure, Roka Shibasaki. As the club’s nonstop antics derail his efforts to quit, Kenji gradually discovers he might not mind being there after all.
