At Fumizuki Academy, students aren’t just graded—they’re ranked. After a placement exam at the end of freshman year, the school sorts everyone into classes from A at the top to F at the bottom, with the campus perks reflecting that divide.

Akihisa Yoshii lands in Class F, where the facilities are as shabby as the reputation. He’s not alone: his friend Yuuji Sakamoto shares the same fate, and even the brilliant Mizuki Himeji ends up there after coming down with a fever on test day. Refusing to accept their lot, Class F bands together under Yuuji’s lead and challenges the upper classes through the Examinations Summon Battle system, where students summon avatars whose strength matches their test scores—and fight to win better treatment.
