Synopsis
Set in Tokyo in 2018, *Wizard Barristers* imagines a city where ordinary people live alongside citizens capable of using magic. With strict regulations governing spellcasting, disputes involving magical incidents are handled in a specialized “magic courtroom,” where the law is tailored to the unique risks and responsibilities of sorcery.
At the center is Cecil, recognized as the youngest Benmashi—wizard barrister—on record. Alongside her colleagues, she takes on cases defending magic users accused of breaking those laws, navigating a legal system built to judge the use of power in everyday urban life.
