Synopsis
Rookie sky pirate Coud’s latest raid seems routine—until he discovers an unexpected “cargo” hidden in the hold: Ren, an Edel Reid. Coveted by humans, Edel Reid can “React” with a partner to grant them extraordinary combat abilities, and it soon becomes clear that Ren is worth far more than Coud initially realized.
Three representatives from the Edel Reid Complete Protection Agency, Arc Aire, board the ship and attempt to buy Ren. Coud refuses, and not long after, the ship is assaulted by an unknown attacker. With danger closing in, Coud’s captain entrusts him with Ren’s safety, setting the two on a perilous path.
