Prétear: The New Legend of Snow White

Sixteen-year-old Himeno Awayuki is uprooted when her father remarries, moving into a sprawling mansion with a picture-perfect garden. The setting feels like a dream—until the reality of her new household sets in: her stepmother is preoccupied with Himeno’s father, her younger stepsister Mawata keeps her distance, and Mayune, who’s the same age as Himeno, takes every chance to needle her with pranks.

Before she can settle into this uneasy new life, Himeno is drawn into a secret conflict by the Leafe Knights—seven magical boys who ask her to become the Prétear, a princess able to borrow their powers. Though she accepts, doubt follows close behind as she’s tasked with protecting the world and its life-giving Leafe from the looming threat of the Princess of Disaster, all while searching for a place where she truly belongs.
