Zatch Bell!

Takamine Kiyomaro, a detached and downcast student, has his routine upended when he’s suddenly put in charge of Gash Bell, a small demon with a big presence. What begins as an unwanted responsibility quickly turns into something far more dangerous: Gash is one of many demons sent to Earth, each required to choose a human partner and battle the others for the right to become ruler of the demon world.

Bound together as master and demon, Kiyomaro and Gash are drawn into a relentless series of supernatural fights. As the clashes escalate, Kiyomaro’s outlook shifts, learning—often the hard way—the value of friendship and the courage to stand alongside someone else.
