Their mission is crucial, as preserving these living narratives—ranging from ancient folk tales to contemporary tales—is essential for the well-being of humanity. At the heart of this enchanting island continent, Princess Aura reigns with divine guidance from the Great God Goal, yet she is bound to her palace, unable to venture beyond its confines.

However, their idyllic existence is threatened by Nyanma, a vengeful spirit once cast aside in the legendary race for zodiac representation. Using her powers, she unleashes Jarei Monsters that twist and parody the stories within the Novel Worlds. To combat this malevolence, Bakumaru, the Spirit of Mice, must utilize the Genmakyou mirror to unveil the true identity of these malevolent spirits. With the help of the Eto Rangers, who sometimes immerse themselves in the very tales they seek to protect, they confront these challenges head-on. Upon vanquishing a Jarei Monster, Bakumaru calls upon Kirinda to restore balance, purging the taint of evil with a powerful purification beam.
